Kirkby Stephen and Inn on the Lake wedding photography

What a fantastic day for the wedding of Nic and Andy. Having known the couple for a few years we were very excited when they approached us to provide their wedding photography. This wedding was going to be very different and fun filled.
The day started for Mike at Nics house to get preparations of the bride and bridal party. This was a very busy and fun time with plenty of time to get some family photographs in the lovely garden.
Nic and her family then travelled to the chapel in a convoy of Land Rovers, this was the start of a very unique wedding.
The ceremony was a lovely, personal ceremony in the chapel with the first kiss also including high fives and a bounce of knuckles. The couple then left the chapel with Nic on Andy's bike with Andy helping her down the aisle.
The guests then went on to the venue while the couple stopped on the way for some photographs with the transport. They couldn't help having a play on the trampoline while they were there.
Once the speeches and meal were over the couple couldn't help but get the bike out again, along with a ramp. It was now the turn of Andy to show everyone his moves, with a very brave bride and groomsmen.
The couple started the party perfectly with the first dance of let's get ready to rumble.
Mike very much enjoyed photographing Nic and Andy's wedding and we wish them all the best in the future.
We were very pleased to win two awards for Nic and Andy's wedding photography - a gold and highly commended award from The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
